Over 200 Downloads

At the time of this developer log, Planet Dungeon has crossed the threshold of over 200 downloads!

For your viewing pleasure, I've attached some photos taken of the very first prints of the hardcover rulebook. The final prints of the rulebook have a glossy coating as opposed to a matte one shown in the photos, but contain just as much awesomeness.

It's been just under three months since Planet Dungeon 1.0 was released. Before the project was started, there was nothing outside of an incredibly vague concept written out in a journal. Three days later (and an exhausting three days they were), the 1.0 version was published and made available online. And just three weeks after that, the hardcover rulebooks were finalized and cleared for publication.

Three months is a long time for a lot of things. And after three months since its release and publication, I am glad that Planet Dungeon has continued to hold up.

Planet Dungeon is something I plan to continue developing in the background. Some future goals I have include original art for the rulebook, additional supplemental books and dungeons (both in physical and digital form), and another big push to getting the game inside as many brick-and-mortar bookstores as possible (because, let's face it, who doesn't want their game in a bookstore?). I'd also love to rework some of the rulebook for balancing purposes, potentially adding in a few more pages.

As you can imagine, life is crazy. As much as I'd love to afford working on Planet Dungeon full-time, it's not something that's feasible at this point. That being said, I do plan to continue developing the game, as I've already mentioned. Progress may slow, but it will continue forward nonetheless.

For now, I'll leave you to it.

Happy dungeoning.

And try not to die.
